Established in 2009, in the heart of the Smart City New Raipur and capital of Chhattisgarh, BIT RAIPUR and is the second institution of the BIT Group after BIT Durg and is run by the BIT Trust. It is managed by a Board of Trustees. The governing Body consists of representatives from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the state government of Chhattisgarh, chosen representatives from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), industrialists, senior bureaucrats, management experts, peoples, representatives, and notable social workers. Its parent organization; BIT Durg is the first private engineering college of central India and has successfully completed 36 years of excellence in the field of engineering education. It has withstood the trust of the people of the state and continues to do so. BIT Raipur believes in excellence through quality and innovation.

We are a self-financing institution that is known to be the centre of excellence when it comes to engineering lead global citizenship. The engineering pedagogy in the institution has a holistic approach and focuses on creating an employable, sensible and a worthy engineer who is a true servant to the nation and to the society.
