DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING & PLACEMENT, BIT RAIPUR

BIT Raipur Placement Cell

BIT Raipur placement cell thrives to provide placements to the students in multi-national, and national companies. The campus drives conducted by the cell is such that every eligible student from every department gets a chance to appear in the drives and get placed. The cell ensures that the companies are genuine and have a good reputation. It also ensures that the students flourish in their career by joining such companies. It also looks for tie-ups with other universities and colleges for pool drives.

The students appear in the campus drives from time to time, beginning in August and continuing till February and it is for all branches and on an average 80% of students get placed before the completion of the course and the rest have different career goals like higher studies, abroad education or entrepreneurship.

ABOUT TRAINING

Between the Training and the Placement, Training plays a very important role, as it is the adequate training that prepares the students for better placement The main goal of the Training department is. to organize Skill development training and industrial training to all the concerned students for their carrier prospects which in turn is beneficial to their campus recruitments. The cell also arranges for summer intern programs for the 4th and the 6th-semester students with various industries in the countries.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

BIT,RAIPUR provides in-house training as well as has signed MOUs with the corporate sectors for providing skill development training to our final year students. This helps them in preparation for their campus specific training like Technical q&a ,Aptitude test, verbal reasoning, personality development tests and training sessions and Group Discussion as per requirement of placement activities.

The outcome of the training is –

  • Learning to maintain a balance between accuracy and computational speed.
  • To approach aptitude questions from answer options eventually minimizing time consumed to solve a problem.
  • Start thinking out of the box.
  • Work efficiently and pro-active under pressure.
  • Overcome the fear of numbers. Instead, will develop a love for numbers.
  • Get rid of mental fatigue: tiredness while solving too many questions within the stipulated time.
  • Be strong in the fundamentals of computation.
  • Will know their weaknesses (from the analysis of the test) and learn to overcome them.
